Cruisin' Ocean City
From Participant:
When you register you get entrance into the show for the vehicle, driver, one passenger and any children under 14 for all 4 days of the event. This allows you to park in the Inlet Lot, Convention Center Lot or any of the satellite shows throughout town, wherever space is available. Parking at all locations is limited. When you pick up your registration packet at the Convention Center during the event you will receive an Official Cruisin Ocean City Program that has a complete list of activities. Be sure to take time to go through the program and pick the activities you would like to participate in.
Awards are being selected at random times during the event at the Inlet, Convention Center and all throughout town. All awards are chosen by business owners, town representatives, event sponsors and community leaders. It is important that you keep your number card displayed on your front windshield at all times. Awards are given out each day of the show with the grand finale awards given out on Sunday. Winners will be posted at the event and also on social media, mainly Facebook.
Yes, there will be limited registration at the event.
Official postcards will be mailed out a few weeks prior to the event. Please sign the postcard and bring it with you to the Convention Center (4001 Coastal Highway, Ocean City MD, 21842) along with your vehicle registration, during the event to pick up your participant package. Sign-in hours are Wednesday 9am4pm, Thursday 7:30am-4pm, Friday 7:30am-4pm and Saturday 7:30am-4pm. If you lost your postcard please bring a photo ID to the Convention Center to pick up your registration packet.
Yes. Please sign the bottom of your postcard giving your friend permission to pick up your packet and have them bring your postcard to the Convention Center.
Boardwalk parades are for registered participants only, you must have your participant window display card displayed in your front windshield. Boardwalk parades are scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings at 8am. Please read the official event program for parade line-up information.
Free trailer parking is available at the route 50 Park & Ride located on the south side of route 50 just before you cross the bridge into Ocean City. You can also check with your hotel or condo to see if they offer trailer parking. If you plan to park on an OC public street you will need to purchase a trailer parking permit. These can be purchased inside the Convention Center during the event. You must have a trailer permit on your trailer prior to parking on any city street. Trailer permits are only issued to registered participants.
If you know you will be bringing a different car than what you registered prior to the event please call our office 410-798-6304. Changes can also be made at packet pick-up. All vehicles registered for Cruisin must be 1979 and earlier, street legal with current state tags, licensed and insured. No excessively loud exhaust systems or diesel engines are permitted.
Cruisin is a rain-or-shine event. In the event of inclement weather events will take place as best as they can.
During Cruisin the town of Ocean City will be designated as a Special Event Zone, which simply means there will be strict enforcement for reckless driving, speeding and any unlawful activities. Parking at all locations is limited. If you would like to participate in a particular activity, please arrive early. Remember there is so saving parking spaces. If you would like to park with a friend please arrive with them.
For liability reasons no popup tents are allowed at the event unless approved by the event.
From Spectator:
Children under 14 are free when accompanied by an adult.
Spectator parking is available at the Convention Center on 40th St. There is also parking available in the municipal parking lots downtown including Worcester St.- between Baltimore Ave. & Philadelphia Ave., Somerset St. & Baltimore Ave., Dorchester St. & Baltimore Ave., N. Division St. & Baltimore Ave. (about 10 spaces), 4th St. & Baltimore Ave., and 1st. St. & St. Louis. Another option is the city bus which runs up and down coastal highway. Yes, there will be sponsors and vendors located at the Manufactures Midway in the Inlet Parking lot. There will also be vendors inside and outside of the OC Convention Center selling automotive equipment, t-shirts, arts and crafts, jewelry and much more. Additionally a Swap Meet and Car Corral will take place inside the OC Convention Center.
Tickets may be purchased at the Inlet (809 South Atlantic Ave.) or the Convention Center (4001 Coastal Highway). You can purchase a one day ticket or a four day event pass. Tickets are good at the Inlet and at the Convention Center, both inside and outside. Discounted four day passes can also be purchased in advance, prior to September 15th online at https://specialeventpro.com/ or over the phone, 410-798-6304

Yes. We have vendors selling automotive parts, polishes and gear as well as arts and crafts, clothing, jewelry and more. Vendor locations include both inside and outside the OC Convention Center.
